The hotel itself was located in the center, which made it easy to access various amenities and activities. The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel at home. Loved the cozy atmosphere of the hotel, it added to the romance of our escape. the breakfast served was delightful, fresh and filling always. We enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's location that was a mere stone's throw away from the activities and action in the area.

The hotel was not kept in good condition; the furnishings were dated and shabby and water leaked from the shower tiles.

Had an amazing Christmas vacation with great complementary gifts in our cozy room. The location was ideal, walking distance to the pier and main street. The staff was very attentive and responsive to our requests.

Some nights we were bothered by noises from the nearby church as it hosted events and services. However, this did not happen every night so it was not a big deal.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

We were initially allocated a second-floor room, which wasn't accessible for a wheelchair. However, the staff at Hostal Castro Galapagos were incredibly understanding and changed our room to the first floor. They even built a ramp for the hotel entrance and helped my husband get to the swimming pool. Their attentiveness and assistance made our stay truly exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel.
